In with the New

time-for-change-2

I’m so excited to unveil my new website! I’ve been wanting to update the design for ages, and sometimes the hardest part is getting started. When I began this journey, I took a DIY approach. I created my own website and designed it. It worked in the beginning, but as my brand evolved, I felt it no longer reflected where I was going. And as a marketer, it’s important to me that my website represent my ethos as an author.

I teamed up with designer Jillian Solarczyk to bring my vision to life. I’m thrilled with the result and hope you are too. Then I was contacted by a book reviewer, The Redheaded Book Lover, who was interested in reviewing Into the Fire. When I was researching her website, I noticed she happened to give a glowing review of the company who built hers, MB-Sites. I figured it was fated. Not only did I agree to the review, but I contacted her web company to build me a brand, spanking new website and the rest is history.

I’m all for DIY, but at some point, you realize you don’t have the right skillset. I’m a writer, not a web designer or builder. So I figured it was time for change.

As the saying goes, out with the old, in with the new.

Goodbye, old friend.
