Into the Light

I’ve been on somewhat of a writing hiatus. COVID came and suddenly everyone was home. Between working, helping my kids with e-learning, and navigating a new normal, I found myself unmotivated to write. As time went on, I realized I needed something positive to ground me amid all the chaos. I had been working on a manuscript, the next book in The Elements series, that had been sitting on hold. One night I read through what I had and it motivated me to finish what I started.

Writing has always been an escape for me. And once I got back into it, I remembered why I loved it. Sometimes you need to step away from something to renew your appreciation for it. And I’m excited to share that my next book, Into the Light, is ready to launch.

The book is a second chance romance that follows former lovers Shay Woodward and Jeremy McAllister.

In Shay’s words:

“I never expected to see him again. Jeremy McAllister. From the day we met, he painted my world with vivid colors. He was my first love, my first everything, until that fateful day when circumstances tore us apart. And now, he’s standing across the room. All these years later a chance encounter has brought us together again. When our eyes meet I know in that moment he is lost to me. The light I once saw is gone. And only resentment remains. I’m determined to reach the boy who once loved me with a passion so bright it rivaled the sun. But the man he’s become is just as determined to push me away, into the darkness.”

In celebration of my upcoming release, I’ll be sharing a preview of some chapters—only available here. Stay tuned for a sneak peek!
